God Bless the Child e. V. (Bless the Child e.V.) works on a non-profit basis and is dedicated to the promotion of child and youth welfare, education, development cooperation and culture.
We stand up for the basic right of a high-quality education in order to unfold the potential of people and improve their living conditions. We particularly support children and young people in South Africa as well as young women in order to strengthen their awareness of their opportunities and rights.

Vision
Our vision is to provide people with a perspective on the job market and in their society and to strengthen them for their life’s journey in the long term. In addition, we want to reach more and more people with our work in the long term. To realize this, we also build on personal connections. We work on reducing cultural barriers. It is important to us that our work is transparent and conscientious.
We commit ourselves to the standards of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in our work in order to continuously protect the welfare of the children of our projects.

It is important to us that our work as a civil society organization is conscientious and transparent. For this reason, we have joined the Transparent Civil Society Initiative.
Bless the Child e. V. was founded in June 2016 in Hamburg and was exempted by the tax office Hamburg-Nord according to AO § 52 No. 15 (development cooperation), No. 4 (youth welfare), No. 7 (education) and No. 5 (art & culture).
God Bless the Child e. V. arbeitet gemeinnützig und macht sich die Förderung der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, Bildung, Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Kultur zur Aufgabe.
Wir treten für das Grundrecht einer hochwertigen Bildung ein, um Potentiale von Menschen zu entfalten und Lebensumstände zu verbessern. Wir fördern insbesondere Kinder- und Jugendliche in Südafrika sowie junge Frauen, um ihr Bewusstsein für ihre Chancen und Rechte zu stärken.

Vision
Unsere Vision ist es, Menschen eine Perspektive in Ihrer Gesellschaft und auf dem Arbeitsmarkt zu ermöglichen und sie für ihren Lebensweg nachhaltig zu stärken. Bei unserer Arbeit zielen wir darauf ab, langfristig mehr und mehr Menschen zu erreichen. Um dies zu realisieren, bauen wir auch auf persönliche Verbindungen und reduzieren kulturelle Barrieren.
Wir initiieren hierzu verschiedene Projekte, die wir in Südafrika und Deutschland umsetzen.
Transparenz
Es ist uns ein Anliegen, dass unsere Arbeit als Organisation der Zivilgesellschaft gewissenhaft und transparent ist. Wir haben uns aus diesem Grund der Initiative transparente Zivilgesellschaft angeschlossen.
Wir verpflichten uns bei unserer Arbeit den Standards der UN-Kinderrechtskonvention um das Wohl der Kinder unserer Projekte fortwährend zu schützen.
Bless the Child e.V. wurde im Juni 2016 in Hamburg gegründet und wurde vom Finanzamt Hamburg-Nord nach AO § 52 Nr. 15 (Entwicklungszusammenarbeit), Nr. 4 (Jugendhilfe), Nr. 7 (Bildung) und Nr. 5 (Kunst & Kultur) freigestellt.

Der Vorstand unseres Vereins sowie alle Mitglieder arbeiten ehrenamtlich. Unser Verein hat aktuell 15 Mitglieder sowie etwa 30 externe ehrenamtliche Helfer.
Wir vereinbaren verschiedene Fachbereiche (z. B. Gesundheit, IT, Kulturmanagement, Kunst, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit). Unsere Vorstandsmitglieder widmen ihrer ehrenamtlichen Arbeit durchschnittlich 5 Wochenstunden, weitere Mitglieder je nach Verfügbarkeit bis zu 3 Wochenstunden.
